Choosing to join activ Marketing as a franchisee (or Branch Director as far as clients are concerned!) is more than just starting a business.
It’s about building a marketing agency with the right support behind you. Our marketing business in a box provides you with expert people, proven systems and smart tools that save you 45+ hours a month than if you set up solo.
But first, we need to make sure it’s a good fit for both of us.
That’s why our recruitment process is open, structured and designed to give you everything you need to make an informed decision.
Step 1. Enquiry Submission
It starts with a simple enquiry. From there, you’ll get instant access to our brochure and our team will be in touch to guide you through the discovery steps.
Please check your junk one you’ve requested the download, just in case!
Step 2. Discovery Phase
Next, you’ll be able to book a 30 minute discovery call with either our CEO or Customer Success Manager.
This is your chance to learn more about our franchise, ask questions and explore whether activ is the right move for you.
Along the way your will also be invited to any of our upcoming Webinars or Discovery Days.
If there’s a strong fit, we’ll invite you into a behind the scenes deeper dive. This includes:
Signing an NDA to unlock everything you need to know
Selecting your franchise model and activ brand
Requesting territory mapping if you’re interested in a local brand
Reviewing flexible payment options in more detail to suit your circumstances

Step 3. Development Phase
Once your NDA is signed, we dive deeper. We’ll look at your goals, talk through how activ would work for you, and explore the business opportunity in your area.
You’ll get a full view of the support included, including activ Flow CRM, our Accelerator Programme and The Activation Station back office platform.
You may even wish to speak to an existing franchisee. We can set this up for you upon request! They’re a friendly bunch, we promise.
Step 4. Business Planning and Franchise Agreement
If we both feel confident about moving forward, we’ll discuss and support on your business plan. We will also allow you to review our Franchise Agreement.
You’ll have time to thoroughly explore and ask us anything you need. No pressure, just clarity.
Step 5. Commitment
When you’re ready to go ahead, your next step is to book your induction date.
You’ll then have seven days to sign your Franchise Agreement.
Depending on the payment plan you choose, you’ll pay either a 30% or 50% deposit to secure your franchise. This is when it starts to get exciting!
Step 6. Induction and Onboarding
Welcome to activ. On Day 1 of induction, you will come to our head office in Cardiff and dive in.
We’ll introduce you to the team, get started on training and map our your business launch. We will also get some shots done for your website and our marketing team will interview you for your launch comms.
Over the coming 4 weeks we will then:
- Take you through our comprehensive onboarding programme
Set up activ Flow – your CRM and marketing hub
Build your website, set up email and support on social channels activation
Provide a guided start to our Accelerator Programme
Develop and execute your marketing launch plan, built around you
Provide ongoing one to one support to get your first clients and keep growing
From here, you’re officially a Franchise Partner, with the backing of a full team behind you.
