This month, activ Marketing proudly hosted the first ever EWIF South Wales meeting. EWIF (Encouraging Women into Franchising) is a movement dedicated to reshaping the franchise industry by empowering women to succeed.
Our CEO and lead franchisor, Katie Bullon, opened the session by sharing insights into EWIF’s mission and upcoming initiatives, including Ambassador of the Month and Bring a Buddy, both designed to strengthen our community and support network. Guest speaker Helen Corsi-Cadmore delivered an inspiring talk on Accelerating Action Through Franchising and Joint Ventures, drawing from her experience launching a rapid growth chain of retail stores as part of a joint venture partnership which she successfully excited in 2019.
It was also fantastic to have Lynsday and Mark in attendance from the EWIF national coordination team, Coconut Marketing.
Helen’s presentation sparked engaging discussions on mindset, taking bold steps in business, and the vital role of industry support.
Conversations on collaboration, professionalism, and cross-industry support reinforced the power of community in franchising. The session brought together a diverse group of franchisors from various sectors, all united by a common goal – to elevate those around them, both within and beyond the franchising industry.
It was an insightful and energising session, filled with practical takeaways and meaningful connections.
